Wall Street Saw Its Strongest Week 1 Earnings in Over 3 Years

Bank of America strategists recapped the first week of earnings saying that with 50 S&P 500 companies reports in, 88% beat expectations. UBS' CIO office also flagged stronger than historical averages for both beat rates and EPS growth, saying that the stock market has further to run thanks to what's expected to continue to be a strong earnings season. "The wide gaps between individual stock performance and ongoing risks related to geopolitics and inflation, however, mean that investors should ensure diversified exposure," the strategists wrote.
