Nasdaq Ticks Higher. Dow Climbs More Than 800 Points in Broad Rally.

The Dow surged back to record levels on Thursday as big financial stocks provided a boost. The blue-chip index rose 814 points or 1.6%, on pace for a closing high and its biggest percentage gain since April. If the Dow closes at a record today, it would mark its 15th record in 2026.
