Stocks Rise, Bond Yields Fall as Gasoline Prices Push Below $4 a Gallon

Stocks and bond prices were higher on Thursday morning, after President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran that increases the likelihood of releasing more oil supply from the Persian Gulf. The S&P 500 rose 1.1%, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 1.4%. The national average price for one gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was at $3.9987 on Thursday, its lowest price since March 30, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
