Momentum Stocks Are Making a Comeback

Sandisk, the top performer in the S&P 500 this year, rose more than 7%, while Marvell Technology popped nearly 12% on Tuesday. With overextended positioning cleared out in July, Wall Street analysts have argued investors were likely to shift back to areas like chip stocks and other AI infrastructure trades given the earnings outlook has only strengthened over the past month.
